Castle Rim is a stunning mountain villa in the heart of Aspen, less than a mile from the town center and ski resort. With spectacular, expansive views of Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk Mountain, ample outdoor and indoor spaces, and room for twenty-five, this seven-bedroom luxury vacation rental is ideal for large families and destination wedding guests seeking exquisite privacy and luxury within easy reach of Colorado's finest slopes and trails.
The villa's outstanding outdoor spaces include a terrace with infinite swimming pool and unobstructed Rocky Mountain views. Enjoy long afternoons in the lounge, stay toasty around the fire pit, and treat yourself to a delicious soak in the hot tub. In the afternoon, fire up the grill for some classic Western barbeque, then gather around the alfresco dining table for sixteen to relish a hearty dinner in the alpine air.
Large glass doors open from the terrace into the villa's open-plan interior. The luminous kitchen is fully equipped and includes an island breakfast bar seating eight, while the large formal dining table is ideal for feasting together after a fun day on the mountain. In the lounge, a sumptuous sectional faces the hearth with fireplace and mounted flat screen television. The villa also includes separate lounge with sectional and wet bar for cozy movie time; a cavernous and well-stocked downstairs media room; a wine room; and a large office space.
Castle Rim features three bedrooms with king beds, two rooms with two double beds each, and a room with two bunk beds, while additional trundle beds are also available. All of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms. The deluxe master bedroom has its own lounge area with fireplace, a walk-in closet, a furnished balcony with beautiful mountain views, and a jetted bathtub in its ensuite bathroom. The second king room also features a lounge with gas fireplace and a balcony.
At Castle Rim, you're ideally situated for savoring Aspen. With direct access to a bike path, you're less than a mile from Aspen's town center and ski base, and you're just a two-mile drive from Aspen Highlands Ski Resort and Buttermilk Ski Area. Aspen Golf and Tennis Club is about a mile down the road, while Wheeler Opera House is within walking distance.
